He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bert Mason and Ada May Mason (Gilbert); his granddaughter Darla; his wife Marie Caroline Strope; his children, Lance Mason (Candice) of Doland, SD, Darla Knox (Robert) of Frankfort, Monte Mason (Ruth) of Redfield and Brent Mason (Carmen) of Frankfort; his sister Joan Crook of Redfield; his sisters-in-law, Joan Parks of Independence, MO and Helena Strope of Clinton, MO.; his siblings, Gene, Maurice and Daelyn Mason; and his grandchildren, Brett Knox, Kyle Knox, Tyler Mason, Tory Mason, Teagan Mason, Dan Hansen, Miles Morris, Nick Olson, Honorary Pallbearers, Jessica Hansen, Stephanie Morris, Kristi Knox, Bailley Olson, Paige Hermanson, Melissa Knox and Brittaney Knox. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
