He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Ella Mae Schade (Irwin); his wife Inez Leanore Bush; his son Richard Donavon; and his sisters, Irene Ivers McCart, Doris Paschke, Ila Mae Bush and Roberta Schade.
He is survived by: his daughter Jill Alkire (Richard) of Redfield; his granddaughters, Holly Petersen (Darin Mason) and Amy Rothacker (Ben Carlisle); his son George Schade (Carla) of Redfield; his grandchildren, Andrea Mushitz (Heath), Lance Schade (Keri) and Landon Schade (Kallie); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Zach Petersen, Blaine, Derrek Rothacker, Kynslee, Gabe Mushitz, Harper, Beckham, Oaklen Schade, Lucchese and Preslee Schade; his sister Rita Lunney; and his siblings-in-law, June Ehrich and Joe Nuhsbaumer.
