It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Strivens of Redfield, South Dakota, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian S. DeLozier; his daughter Marcene Rigsby; his son-in-law Larry Bealmear; his great grandchild Alexander Birchem; and his siblings, Robert Strivens (Verna), Clifford Strivens (LaVern), Luella Urish and Mildred Spitzer.
He is survived by: his children, Louise Auchampach (Tom) of Garden City, ID, Lois Bealmear of East Dundee, IL, Darrell Strivens (Kristi) of Aberdeen, SD, Doris Grunewaldt (David) of Ashton, SD, Marcia Benning (Kim) of Hill City, SD and Gloria Brosius (Greg) of Centennial, CO.; and his close friend Marilyn Schmidt. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
