She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucas Muller and Minnie Muller (Doeden); her husband Richard Thelen; her former husband Russell Beier; her sons, Brian and Barry; her great grandchild Grace Hope Johnson; and her sister Delna Beckstrom.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelly; her son-in-law Mark Johnson; her grandsons, Matthew and Timothy (Andrea); and her stepchildren, Mike Thelen (Vicki), Jeff Thelen (Dottie), Patrick Thelen (Brittany Hansen) and Jill Leddy (Steve). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hyke Funeral Home (101 E 7th Ave, Redfield, SD 57469). A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Redfield - Redfield Methodist Church (1326 W 1st St, Redfield, SD 57469).
