With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce Berg of Redfield, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Berg and Mary Berg (Olding); his brother Thom Berg; his nephew Evan Berg; his father-in-law Dale Penfield; and his stepfather-in-law Rodger Bierman.

He is survived by : his wife Julie Ann Otto; his daughter Tiffany Lambertus (Lonnie); his grandchildren, Hattie, Harvey of Garvin, MN and Hailey Berg; his great grandchildren, Sylvia, Orion and Dorian of Slayton, MN; his grandchild Kasey Berg (Will Watros); his great grandchildren, Valerie and Caydran of Mancelona, MI; and his in-laws, Connie Berg, Michelle Wilson (Richard) and Kelley Penfield (Denise). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hyke Funeral Home (101 E 7th Ave, Redfield, SD 57469). A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Redfield - St. Bernard Catholic Church (217 E 6th Ave, Redfield, SD 57469).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for monetary donations to help offset the cost of medical and funeral expenses.
