She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmet O'Connor and Mayme O'Connor (Humphrey); her spouse Berton Van Houten; her siblings, Agnes Ames (Earl), Cletus O'Connor (Midge) and Ally O'Connor (Eunice); her son-in-law Donald "Buzz" Kraus; her nephews, Joe Ames, Lawrence Ames, Mike O'Connor, Larry Gerlach and Jim Deuchar; and her niece Marlene Waldron.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica Kraus of Athol, George Van Houten (Beverly) of Bloomington, MN and Gloria Stammer (Mick); and her grandchildren, Deb Christensen (Russ), Lori Flinn (Jeff), Jason Van Houten, Taunia Higgins (Tom), Tami Davis (Kevin) and Brad Stammer (Char). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
