Walter J. Price Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 101, Walter J. Price of Rapid City, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Price and Ida Price; his wife Thora Imsland; his sons, Roy and Alan; his daughter-in-law Merla Dawn; and his siblings, Graydon, Stanley, Maldwin, Harley, Elsie and Olive.
He is survived by: his family, Walter LeRoy (Roy) and Alan; his grandchildren, Launa Grubl (Shane) and Chad Price (Jenny); his great grandchildren, Teigen, Trey Grubl, Brayden, Brigg and Brynlie Price; his sister Opal Grubl (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Ted Imsland and Oasa Murphy.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sturgis Veterans Club (868 Main St, Sturgis, SD 57785).
A memorial has been established for Walt & Thora to the Opal & Red Owl Fire Departments.
