He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul C. Brooks and Rose L. Brooks; and his brothers, Paul and Donald. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lake; and his siblings, June Michael (Richard), Mary Brandner (Joel), Carol Armbrust (Rodger), Lois Albright (Jack), Alice Pike (Don), John Brooks (Tish), Gerald Brooks and Theodore Brooks (Barbara). He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews, along with countless grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
