He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Tapio and Jean Tapio (Cooper); his sisters, Karen and Kelly; and his nephew Talis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Galen Tapio (Yvonne) of Rapid City and April Humbracht of Indiana.
