She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hayes and Candace Hayes (Fuller); her husband Eugene "Jack" Tennyson; her sisters, Florence Baird, Marilyn Madison and Charlene Schell; and her nephew Larry Schell.
She is survived by: her children, Jerald "Jerry" Tennyson (Carol) of Chapin and Kathryn "Kathy" Tennyson of Rapid City; her grandsons, Jerald Tennyson, Jr. of Rapid City and Eric Tennyson (Jayma) of Chapin; her stepgrandchildren, Brandon Lynn (Julie), Troy Lynn (Cindy), Tom Lynn, Shelly Pejsa, Juston Holm (Chris) and Tammy Mann (Robert); her great grandchildren, Jerry Tennyson III of Las Vegas and Mason Tennyson of Chapin; her sister Virginia Poste of Casper, Wyoming; and her sisters-in-law, Joan Tennyson, Frannie Tennyson, Marge Tennyson and Twila Koopman. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is established to the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Quinn.
