It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Winter of Rapid City, South Dakota, born in Tripp, South Dakota, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Rehak and Ila Rehak (Kappelman); her husband Ralph Winter; her daughter Vickie Harter; her grandson Reed Lien; and her sister June Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Victoria and Valarie Lien (Steve) of Rapid City; her son-in-law Lon Harter of Sturgis; her grandchildren, Eric (Jason) of Dell Rapids, Amy (Chris) of Wall and Jamie (Matt) of Brookings; her great grandchildren, Sunny, Sean, Berkeley, Calder, Hazel and Lola; and her sister Bonnie Brown of Winner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, a private family service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the United Methodist Church in Winner, SD.
