It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Richard Gustafson Sr. of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gustafson and Leila Gustafson; his son Matthew Gustafson; and his siblings, Carl Gustafson, Beverly Cochran and Gloria Gill.
He is survived by: his wife April Gustafson (Hauff); his sister June Van Pelt; his sons, Pete Williams (Tammy) and Michael Richard Gustafson II; his stepchildren, Dan Rederth (Heather), Amy Rederth, Jeff Simmons (Marie) and Mitch Simmons (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, John, Maddie, Katie, Nick, Davis, Alex, Keersten, Abigail, Hayden, Connor and Mason.
