He is survived by: his children, Lucas Jacobs of Seattle and Jessica (Jacobs); his son-in-law Timothy Caruthers; his grandchildren, Mary of Houston, Oliver of Houston and Luke of Houston; his son Matthew; his daughter-in-law Kami Jacobs (Wagner); his grandchildren, Micah of Rapid City, S. D. and Leah of Rapid City, S. D.; and his sisters, Barbara Neutz (Jacobs), Ann Schommer (Jacobs) and Patricia Schumacher (Jacobs).
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Black Hills Catholic Church (12365 Sturgis Rd, Piedmont, SD 57769). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the St. Aloysius Cemetery.
