He was predeceased by: his brothers, Mason and Matthew; and his grandparents, Mitchell, Darlene Mudlin, Lois and Ray Anderson.

He is survived by: his son Rowan; his parents, Bob Mudlin and Sheila Mudlin; his siblings, Martin Mudlin (Randi), Mitchell Mudlin (Holly) and Melanie Barclay (Jason Wong); his nieces and nephews, Kelsey, MaryLu, Tyce, Grady, Theo and Colt; and his guardian angel Holly Soper. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

After connecting with his brother's lung recipient in 2012, Mackenzie was very passionate about organ donation.
