He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Tennyson and Kathryn Tennyson (Overholt); his wife Lorainne Thompson; his daughter Vivian; his siblings, Norma, Marlene, Ruby, Eugene "Jack", Gail and George; and his nephew Norman.
He is survived by: his sisters, Joan Paulson of Rapid City and Twila Koopman of Ivanhoe, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Patrick, Daniel, Brian, Darin and Amanda; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Tennyson of Rapid City, Fran Tennyson of Mitchell and Marjorie Tennyson of Rapid City; and his friends, Leann and Paul Sterk of Rapid City. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Behren's Wilson Funeral Home (632 St Francis St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
