Leonard Kenneth Torpen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 77, Leonard Kenneth Torpen of Rapid City, South Dakota, born in Bowman, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Torpen and Joyce Torpen (Tiegen); and his grandfather Kenny Morland. He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Kreft (Jim), Heather Freitag (Shane) and Hope Wedul (Jeff); his grandchildren, Alexis, Oscar, Ellie, Sophia, Sadie, Hudson, Walker and Jack; his siblings, Ernie, Larry, Susan and Barbara; and also Verna Torpen (Clark). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
