He is survived by: his wife Lila Bachman of Rapid City; his sons, Mark (Elsa) of Rapid City and Jon (Kelly) of Rapid City; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Bachman of Rapid City, Jessica Bachman Levey (Joe) of Omaha and Ryan Bachman of Rapid City.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home (2700 Jackson Blvd, Rapid City, SD 57702). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (835 E Fairmont Blvd, Rapid City, SD 57701). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Cemetery.
