He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Nelson and Evalyn Nelson; his daughter Virjean "Nena"; and his son-in-law Glen Kane. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Todd, Mary and Lane; and his sister Phyllis. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
