He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Trusty and Inez Thurlow-Trusty; his siblings, Carol Forsell and Joe Trusty; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Shirley Payne; and his in-laws, Bud Grover, Ronda Trusty, Larry Kapfenstein and Bruce Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Payne; his grandchildren, Kary, Shantel Jones, Lance Bodden (Connie), Tyler Bodden (Shelby), Cody Davidson (Alyssa), Jacki Petry, Matt and Jacob Trusty; and his sisters, Berna Grover and Becky Fish. He is also survived by his spouse of 59 years, three children.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home (632 St Francis St, Rapid City, SD 57701).
