Judith Gertrude left this world on April 14, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Johnson and Mamie E. Johnson (Stolnack); her siblings, Betty J. Niemi (John), Doris H. Johnson, G. Douglas Johnson (Patricia) and Marilyn M. Schmidt (Arnold, Jr.); her brothers-in-law, Douglas Miller, William Schafer and Roger Reynolds; and her niece Teryl Johnson McGriff.
She is survived by: her siblings, Andrew W. Johnson (Linda) of Sturgis, SD, Beverly J. Miller of Mission, TX, Darlene J. Schafer of Mission, TX, Arlene J. Reynolds of Rapid City, SD and Ida L. Johnson (Mel) of Apple Valley, MN.; and her cousins, Annitta Stolnack of Newell, SD and Janet Hardy of Largo, FL.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westside Lutheran Church (3901 Oklahoma Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57107). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hope Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be given to the South Dakota 4-H Foundation.
