It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry A Johnson (Rapid City, South Dakota), who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Johnson and Millie Johnson; his children, Julie Dunham (Ryan) and Jeremy Johnson (Amber); and his grandchildren, Kathryn, Rachel, Mikayla, Samuel Johnson and Lilly Dunham.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Gibson; his sisters, Eunice Wilkinson, Corrine Anderson, Phyllis Thurm and Alice Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Tamara Atwell, Todd, Troy, Tate Anderson, Nick Gibson, Rosie Brave, Nate Lail, Jocelyn Ragusin, Arthwyr and Viviane Seals.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Wesleyan Church (3040 Marlin Dr, Rapid City, SD 57703). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park (4301 Tower Rd, Rapid City, SD 57701).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Christian Radio Ministry in honor of Jerry.
