She was predeceased by: her mother Marie Schottmuller; and her brothers, Mark James and Kevin James. She is survived by: her close friend Loree Westbrook; her father Jerry Schottmuller; her children, April Pehringer (Jeremy Kitchens), Scott Drury (Rita) and Amanda Smith; her grandchildren, Aaliyah, Austin, Caitlyn, Alexis, Victoria, Gabe and Tyson; her siblings, Missy Braun (Lawrence), Bobbi Safer (Ed), Toni McMillin (Dennis), Shawn James and Mike James (Kasia); and her close friend Lucky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with all her amazing friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel (1235 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Hermosa Cemetery.
