He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Herman and Elenora Hellwig (Foos); his daughter Stacey LaFrenz; and his grandson Andrew Mincey. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Lisa Mincey (Mark), Dirk LaFrenz and Vicki Kirkpatrick of Rapid City; and his brother Vern Hellwig of Rapid City. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
