It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Weaver of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Weaver to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Weaver and Thelma Weaver; and his brother-in-law Tom Johnson. He is survived by: his son James of Ranchester, WY; his wife Kathy; his daughter Leslie Ethridge (Bernard) of White Plains, GA; his stepchildren, Lanette Bren (Jim) of Spearfish, Darrick Bren (Mary) of Sioux Falls and Darrell Bren (Bonnie) of Rapid City; and his siblings, Barbara Johnson of Franktown, Charlotte Mitchem (John) of Fort Worth Texas, Larry (Kay) of Denver Colorado, Richard (Jane) of Denver Colorado and Keith Weaver (Bernie) of Denver Colorado.

In Lieu of flowers the family will establish a memorial in Jim's name.
