He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Ann Robertson (Thomas). He is survived by: his children, Deanna Thomas and Jimmy Thomas; his siblings, Jenice Casey, Shannon Adkins (Pat) and Jon Thomas (Valerie) of Rapid City; and his aunt Rosie Wise of Elk Grove, CA..
