He is survived by: his children, Jean, Irene, Richard and Pam DeArmoun (IA); his grandchild Stacy of John, Tyler; his children, Michael Matthews (NE), Becky, Kevin, Bailey, Walker, David and Wendy Dau (UT); his grandchildren, Zach, Caleb and Sierra; his children, Shanti Dita Ajeet (UT), Teresa and Jim Postma; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Thomas (Rapid City). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
