He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Monson and Donna Monson (Hickey). He is survived by: his children, Seth Monson (Elizabeth), Karron Zopp (Randy) and Anna Luthy (Monty); and his siblings, Randy Monson (Bette), Terry Monson (Rayann), Chicky Townsend (Ray), Danette Laramore (Gary) and Geralyn Smiley (Les). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park (4301 Tower Rd, Rapid City, SD 57701).
