It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Ronald Nordine of Rapid City, South Dakota, born in Albert City, Iowa, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Nordine and Marie Nordine (Anderson); his parents-in-law, Malcolm and Virgilia Gustafson; his siblings, Burnett, Leland Nordine, Myrtis Allen and Millicent Fredrickson; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Allen and Valerie Gochnauer.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gustafson; his children, Terry Nordine (Hope) of Rapid City, Heather Lenz (Mike) of Newell, IA and Amber Perkins (Brian) of Mason City, IA; his grandchildren, Cassondra Lenz of Paulina, IA, Amanda Clark (William) of Eaton, CO, Cody Nordine (Clair) of Rapid City, Brittney Hicks of Storm Lake, IA, Autumn Lundeen (JohnMark) of Rapid City, Courtney Vesely (Tait) of Rapid City, Casey Nordine (Audrey) of Hill City, SD, Joshua Perkins (Logan) of Minneapolis, MN and Caleb Perkins (Sydney) of Minneapolis, MN; his great grandchildren, Juilee, Jace, Amiah, Braeden, Dakota, Logan, Belle, Cale, Eve, Everly, June, Rowen, Frankie, Griffin, Wilder, Mildred and Lucille; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Nordine, Pam Nordine, Don Fredrickson and Carl Gochnauer. He is also survived by three children, nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
He remembered fondly his time on the Iowa Corn Promotion Board and serving as President of the National Corn Development Foundation.
