It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Evelyn Nelson of Rapid City, South Dakota, born in Long Valley, South Dakota, who passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake and Viola; her siblings, Roger, Eddie, Dean, Gene, Hiram and Mardella; and her niece Dorothy.
She is survived by: her sons, Jamie and Tyler; and her children-in-law, Chris and Dorcas. She is also survived by 8 grandkids and 7 great grandkids.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Apr Funeral Service (1515 Space Ave, Rapid City, SD 57701).
