It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dirk Kitzelman of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Dirk's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dirk has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Kitzelman and Marjorie Kitzelman (Ruwe); and his brother Rex Kitzelman. He is survived by: his spouse Christy Fields; his daughters, Kelsey Kitzelman and Hayley Kitzelman; and his siblings, Mark Kitzelman (Mary), Dennis Kitzelman, Eric Kitzelman (Deanna), Alex Kitzelman and Kay Kahla (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kirk Funeral Home (1051 E Minnesota St, Rapid City, SD 57701).
