He was predeceased by: his sister Diana Rosemary Schaar. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Schaar of Rapid City; his sons, Daniel Schaar (Monique) of Santa Cruz, CA and Matthew Schaar (Stephanie) of Washington, DC; and his brother David Schaar (Barbara) of Chagrin Falls, OH.. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westminster Church (1012 Sioux San Dr, Rapid City, SD 57702).
