He is survived by: his sons, Corey Klein (Shandra) of Rapid City and Daniel Jr. Klein (Kelly); his grandchildren, Kain Klein (Alexis) and Taylor Klein of Rapid City; and his siblings, Darryl Klein (Earla), Dudley Klein (Kathy), Doyle Klein (Brenda) of Winner, SD., Dorothy Heinrich, Darla Bromwich (Lyle) and Dorinda Guenin of Rapid City, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
