We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, at the age of 95, Alice M Queen of Rapid City, South Dakota, born in Vale, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Burke and Dorsey Burke; her husband Duane Queen; her children, Rags Roemerman, Leon Roemerman, Beatrice Bingham, Vivian Gilles, Liz Levitt and Pam Roemerman; her sisters, Marian Young (Ray), Zada Dahlberg (Ralph) and Darlene Halbmaier (Buddy); her grandchildren, Michael Ray and Sissy Frizzel; her niece Yogi Young; her daughter-in-law Judy Roemerman; her former husband William Roemerman; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Queen and Lois Perino.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Roemerman of North Carolina and Rachel Roemerman of Rapid City; her sisters, Rose Tax of Rapid City and Kathy Glaze of Titusville, FL; and her grandson Bill Gilles (Candi) of Reynoldsburg, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kirk Funeral Home (1051 E Minnesota St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
