It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice J. Sullivan of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Oberle and Gertrude Oberle; her daughter Shawna; and her brother Eugene. She is survived by: her husband Jerry (Jerry); her children, Darrell (Nancy) of Hill City, SD, Bret (Becky) of Rapid City, SD, Dawnette Owens (Rollie) of Hill City, SD and Brad (Maria) of Round Rock, TX.; her brother Bill (Mary); her siblings-in-law, Marquerite, Verena, Peg, Glenn, Don and Jim; her grandchildren, Sarah, Casey, Paul and Ethan; her stepgrandson Nick; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Ryleigh. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home (2700 Jackson Blvd, Rapid City, SD 57702). A prayer will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (4500 Jackson Blvd, Rapid City, SD 57702).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alice's memory to Blessed Sacrament Church for animal rescue support.
