He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Schaffer and Della Schaffer (DeVaal); and his sister-in-law Sandy Schaffer (Roger). He is survived by: his wife Patsy Bloom; his children, Rhonda Myers (Jim), Roberta Glanzer (Paul) and Ken Schaffer; his brother Roger Schaffer; and his uncle Stan DeVaal (Muriel). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
