She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ray Cook and Evelyn Cook (Morrison); her husband William Richard Picek Jr.; her children, William Picek (Donna) of Corsica, SD, Linda Mulvehill (David) of Piedmont, SD and Gerry Picek (Julie) of Bucyrus, KS; and her grandchildren, Alisha Nachtigal (Andrew), Stacy Farr (Aaron), Joshua Picek, Lisa Olson (Ryan), Samatha Duprel (Clint), Seth Mulvehill (Chrissy), Steven Mulvehill and Stephanie Mulvehill. She was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Pukwana Free Lutheran Church, the American Legion in Pukwana, SD or Peaceful Pines Assisted Living in Rapid City.
