He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Swanson (Moline) of Waukon; his siblings, Alvin Swanson of Kimball and Lois Bickner of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, James Swanson (Kathy) of Pukwana, SD, David Swanson (Becky) of Pukwana, SD, Naomi Swanson of Cincinnati, OH and Ramona Swanson (Mark Montecalvo) of Cortland, OH; his grandchildren, Matt Swanson (Mardi) of Pukwana, SD, Jessica Krajewski (Brad) of Sutherland, NE, Mark Swanson (Cristina) of Pukwana, SD and Laura Beth Abernathy (Russ) of Sturgis, SD; his great grandchildren, Caleb Swanson, Shelby Swanson, Evan Krajewski, Morgan Krajewski, Melanie Krajewski, Jacob Swanson, Charlotte Abernathy and Cameron Abernathy; and also Betty Swanson (Moline). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
