He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Eileen Myers; his wife Trudi Lantz of Pukwana; his children, Jackie (Dennis McMurtry), Jodee Lantz (Steve) of Pukwana, SD, Janell Basting (Chad) of Chamberlain, SD. and Todd Lantz of Cape Girardeau; his grandchildren, Tyrae McMurtry, Bronc McMurtry (Mindy), Tori McMurtry Rudy, Tia Stewart (Sheldon), Blaze McMurtry, Ryan Lantz (Carla), Colt Lantz, Chance Lantz (Emily), Tommi Huelsmann (Ryan), Caden Lantz, Jade Basting (Leah), Gage Basting (Katelyn), Traten Basting (Virginia) and Kutter Basting; his sisters, Carol Johnson (Steve), Nancy Hrabe, Sharon Smith and Vickie Dykes (Dan); his sisters-in-law, Cynthia Lantz, Diane Strange and Joyce Bricker; his friends, Rob Myers and Bill Leiferman; his brother Clifford Lantz; his mother-in-law Hilda Hanson; his sisters, Marlene Simmons, Marlys Clutter and Kay Fletcher; and his daughter-in-law Vicki Lantz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (400 S Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
