He is survived by: his former wife Florence "Tootsie" Pazour; his wife Florence Hopkins of Pukwana, SD; and his children, Debi Ruiz, Rick Hopkins (Penny), Chuck Hopkins (Rochelle), Bonnie Luurs (Ron), Janet Petrak (Mel), Shelly Overweg (Larry), Rita Karlen (Brad), Danita Allen, Paula Creamer (Gene), Ron Hopkins (Dawn) and Tom Hopkins (Sara).
