He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels and Cjerstina Schervem; and his brothers-in-law, Bob King and Ray Vik. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Tooty" of Presho; his stepchildren, Teri Nyberg of Sioux Falls, Tani Parker (Brent) of Sioux Falls, Scott McClanahan (Heidi) of Presho and Bret McClanahan (Tami) of Presho; his sisters, Alice King and Shirley Vik; and his nieces and nephews, Allen, Linda King, Steve, Ken, Brian, Doug Vik and Kathy Fuoss. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
