He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Merle and Jean Kopren. He is survived by: his parents, Ross Kopren and Beverly Kopren; his uncle Willis; his wife Shauna McNaughton; his children, Blaire, Malcolm and Petra; his siblings, Kyle Kopren (Amanda) and Tessa Zastrow (John); his parents-in-law, Jim and Melody McNaughton; his brother Dylan McNaughton (Trisha); his sister-in-law Tarryn McNaughton (Chad); his nieces and nephews, Konrad, Karsen, Asher Kopren, Ariel, Jasper and Marcus McNaughton; and his grandparents, Jim and Joyce Orwick. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (202 E Rogers St, Bison, SD 57620). Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bison High School (200 E Carr St, Bison, SD 57620).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Dacotah Bank for his family. Contributions can be made payable to the Lane Kopren Memorial Fund or Shauna Kopren.
