She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Vliem and Jennie Vliem (Anthony "Tony" Kooiman); her siblings, Art Vliem, Ethyl Vliem, Frank Vliem, Arlene Vliem, Henrietta Lefebre, Arnold Lefebre, Harold, Alfred, Albert and James Vliem; and her grandson Daniel Kooiman.
She is survived by: her spouse Anthony Kooiman; her children, Darryl Kooiman (Rose) of Lodgepole, SD, Lauren Kooiman of Marysville, WA and Beverly Heier (Iver); her grandchildren, Sarah Porter (Mark) of Dickinson, ND, Jennifer Mickelson (Tyler) and Amanda Schuchard (Eric); her great grandchildren, Avery, Brooklyn, Will, Kiley, Jarett, Jozi and Reave; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Vliem of Lodgepole, SD, Betty Vleim and Gladys Vliem.
