Cournoyer, Sr. and Claudia Cournoyer (Miller); his girlfriend Dawn Marie Janis; his daughter Lamya Blue Bird; his brothers, Walt Cournoyer, Jr. and Russell Cournoyer; his siblings-in-law, Victor Janis, Olin Janis, Wendyll "Smokey" Smoke, Calvin Janis, Payton Janis, Shawnna Janis and Shalene Janis; his nieces and nephews, Justin Cournoyer, Walter Cournoyer III, Lante Swallow, Foster "Hoyce" Cournoyer, Joseph Cournoyer, Ethleen Cournoyer, Renae Cournoyer, Martina Cournoyer, Teshay Cournoyer and Rarity Cournoyer; and his grandchildren, Israel Cournoyer, Hazel Cournoyer, Aaron Eagle Bull, Jr., Gloriana Eagle Bull, Madison Hoffman and Walter R. Cournoyer IV. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
