He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Margaret (Miller); and his brother John Baumgartner. He is survived by: his children, Aarron, Brice "Squirrel", Jaylah and Tosha Nieuwsma (Nate Harwood); his grandchildren, Riley and Bentley; his siblings, Tom (Laura), Mary Susan, Margie (Bob) and Ellen (Jim); and his close friend Norma Sjomeling.
