He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam, Sr. Sybesma and Carolina Sybesma (Faber); his siblings, Clarence, Marion, Stanley Sybesma, Bertha Flietstra, Clara Flietstra, Caroline Vanden Bos, Millie Weeber and Darlene VanDenBerg; his parents-in-law, Henry and Nellie Lubben (Vander Lugt); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Flietstra, Merle Huisjen, Pete Lubben, James Hale, Clara Sybesma and Marcia Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Lubben of Platte, SD; his daughter Mary Jo Toering (Al) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Matthew Toering (Kelli), Melissa Kruzek (Dan), Jason Toering (Leah), Michelle Toering and Keagan; his son Karl Sybesma (Karla) of Platte, SD; his grandchildren, Koral (David), Cale, Addison, Rylee Booth, Klarissa (AJ), Marissa, Mallory, Maylee, Mya Backes, Kenton (Heidi), Hunter, Alayah, Kasey, Tobin Sybesma, Kati (Andrew), Emelia, Hudson, Edith, Eleanor Kennedy, Kyle (Kara), Asher, Archer, Trig, Timber Sybesma, Kalla (Hans), Everett, Grayson, Theo and Oliver Hansen; his son Jon Sybesma (Jackie) of Delavan, WI; his grandchildren, Sara (Nate), Sybil Hanus, Levi, Noah, Isaac and Seth Sybesma; his daughter Nancy VanderPol (Steve) of Geddes, SD; his grandchildren, Russell (Haley), Brianna, Oakley, Dani VanderPol, Beth, Beau, Aubrey, Aiden Gammel, Nate (Katy), Ziggy, Ruby, Felix VanderPol and Christin Majerus (Connor); his daughter Lisa Deal (John) of Selby, SD; his grandchildren, Allison, Heather, Ben and Titus Deal; his son Dean Sybesma (Tammy) of Churchill, MT; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Tessa and Shayna Sybesma; his son Joel Sybesma (Susan) of Platte, SD; his grandchildren, Joel Jr. "Jay" (Melissa), Jesse (Sydney), Abigail, Joanna Henry and Zachariah Sybesma (Erin); his sisters, Jean Huisjen of Fruita, CO, Anna Mae Lubben of Kalamazoo, MI and Gert Baker (Bernard) of Edgerton, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Dwight Joe Harris, John Vanden Bos, David VanDenBerg, Lois Hanenburg (Harlan), Ardyce Millhuff (Howard), Eunice Kallio (Dennis), Mary Hale, Betty Kimble (Bill), Nelvina Sybesma and Elaine Weibenga (Bud). He is also survived by seven children, 30 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
