It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Murtha (Platte, South Dakota), who passed away on April 17, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Westendorf and Regina Westendorf (Ricken); her husband James; and her grandson James Daniel Ernst. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Pranger (Dan) of Mitchell, SD and Jean Williamson (Jim) of Luverne, MN; her grandchildren, Christopher Pranger, Brittney Nathan (Elliot), Amber Ernst and Erin Ernst; her brother Eugene Westendorf (Rosie) of Platte, SD; and her sister-in-law Donna Westendorf of Oregon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
