Marian Powers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian Powers (Platte, South Dakota), born in Fort Thompson, South Dakota, who passed away on May 23, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Powers; and her sister Mildred Gritzmacher. She is survived by: her sister Millie; her children, Bonita Susan London, Jeff Ice of Pierre, Michael Charles Powers of Sioux Falls, Julia Ann Powers of Sioux Falls, Linda Marie Janish (David Janish) of Columbia and Karen Louise Powers of Denver, Colorado; and her siblings, Roberta Olsen (Charles) of Mt. Vernon and Robert Pollard of Mount Vernon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, more than 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
