She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sterk and Minnie Sterk (Plooster); her siblings, Peter, Bob, Henry, Johnny, Willis, Alvin, Ernest Sterk, Jenny Beckman and Henrietta Vanderheiden; and her siblings-in-law, Clyde Beckman, Rean Vanderheiden, Ramond Porter, Jerry Kirwan, Lyle Vanderheiden, Gene Vanderheiden, Don DuFrain, Wes Wilkins, Wayne Vanderheiden, Marie, Sena, Nellie, Betty Sterk, Elaine Wilkins and Anna Vanderheiden.
She is survived by: her husband Lowell Don Vanderheiden of Platte, SD; her children, Darrel Vanderheiden (Julie) of Platte, SD, Randy Vanderheiden of Platte, SD and Darla Dertien (Mike) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Erynn Meyerink, Thomey Dertien (Destiny), Brooklyn Dertien and Levi Dertien; her great grandchildren, Brynn, Dani, Eve Meyerink, Bentley Dertien and Polly Dertien; her siblings, Mike Sterk (Angie) of Mitchell, SD, Edith Porter of Armour, SD and Leona Kirwan of Mound City, MO; and her parents-in-law, Janet McConnell, Arnold Vanderheiden (Shirley), Floyd Vanderheiden (Gert), Marium Vanderheiden and Iona DuFrain.
