We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2018, at the age of 96, Esther Hoekman (Platte, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred; her son Wes; her wife Rita; and her parents, Peter and Gertrude.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley and Betty Visscher (Gordon) of Mitchell, SD; her grandchildren, Michelle Hubers (Darwin) of Platte, SD, James Hoekman (Marcy) of Brandon, SD, Jody Sternberg (Rick) of Platte, SD, Craig Visscher (Katy) of Rapid City, SD, Corey Visscher (Monica) of Sioux Falls, SD, Curtis Visscher (Robin) of Lennox, SD and Carla Tracy (Ryan) of Groton, SD; and her brother Royce Van Zee of Corsica, SD. She is also survived by four sisters; four brothers; five sisters-in-law; and three brothers-in-law.
