He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl L. King and Emma King (Martins); and his siblings, Vern, Lawrence, Virgil, Harold, Helen Shortreed and Lula Touw.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty M. Phillips; his wife Betty M. King; his children, Marsha Kostboth (Norm) of Gettysburg, SD, Michael King (Kelly) of Sioux Falls, SD and Linda Schulte (Dan) of Geddes; and his grandchildren, Michael Kostboth, Amy Porter (Adam), Jenna King (Mark DiMaria), Paul King, Kaylee King, Mark Schulte (Kelley), Matt Schulte (Rachel), Katelyn Strasser (Micah) and Grayden Melick. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
